WATERFED POLE PURE WATER WINDOW CLEANING SYSTEM HIRE
We are pleased to offer the very latest pure water window cleaning systems for hire.
WATERFED POLE PORTABLE TROLLEY SYSTEM - 125 LITRE WATER TANK
Ideal for on-site window cleaning around schools, colleges, shopping centres, business parks etc. The purpose-built, 125 litre low profile water tank is mounted on a two wheel trolley with large blow up tyres and fitted with a 12 volt 100psi water pump and a heavy duty deep cycle battery. Setting up is very easy, connect the 50 metre hose reel (supplied) to a tap and the trolley mounted Di resin filters. Connect a hose from the resin filter to the trolley and fill the water tank. The trolley is fitted with a hose reel containing 30 metres of 8mm lightweight hose which is then connected to a waterfed pole via a tap, which you can use to shut off water flow when moving between windows. You are now ready to work from ground floor up to 9 metres (30'). Waterfed poles up to 18 metres are also available at extra cost. The resin filter can produce enough pure water for at least a weeks work, depending on the incoming water quality and the resin can be changed very easily. A water quality meter is fitted to monitor the condition of the resin. Two waterfed poles are supplied, a 7.2 metre (23') pole is suitable for ground floor and first floor windows and a 9.4 metre (30') pole for second and third floor windows. We also supply one hard and one soft brush.
WATERFED POLE STANDARD SYSTEM - TAP CONNECTED RESIN FILTER TROLLEY
Ideal for window cleaning where you have access to an outside tap such as hotels, colleges, schools, houses, nursing homes and commercial properties. No electricity is needed to operate this system, just simply connect to a garden hose with a minimum of 2 bar pressure. You are then ready to work from ground floor up to 9 metres (30') high. Waterfed poles up to 18 metres (60') are also available at extra cost. The 25 litre resin filter can produce enough pure water for at least a week’s work, depending on the incoming water quality and the resin can be changed very easily. A water quality meter is fitted to show the condition of the resin. The resin trolley is mounted on large wheels so it can be easily moved around each site and the 100 metre hose reel with lightweight 8 mm hose reduces the need to move the trolley. Two waterfed poles are supplied; the 7.2 metre pole (23') is suitable for most jobs and a 9.4 metre (30') pole for those extra high windows. We also supply one hard and one soft brush.
WATERFED POLE PREMIUM SYSTEM - 250 LITRE WATER TANK FITTED IN VAN
This system is ideal for mobile window cleaning and depending on your vehicle's payload, supplied with either a 125 litre or a 250 litre baffled water tank. A heavy duty 12 volt deep cycle battery is fitted on a carry frame, along with a 12 volt pump and an automatic battery charger, which can be plugged into the mains to recharge over night. Setting up is very easy, secure the water tank into your van using straps supplied, fill the tank with tap water and connect the water pump and resin filter, plug in one of the waterfed poles and fill the tank with tap water. You are then ready to work from ground floor up to 9 metres (30') high. Waterfed poles up to 18 metres (60') are also available at extra cost. Why use pure water?
The key to achieving spotless, streak free windows and cladding is pure water. The water needs to be almost 100% pure to be effective, so when it evaporates from the glass or cladding, no water marks or deposits are left behind. Using pure water also helps to keep the glass cleaner for longer periods than traditional systems and does not require the use of a squeegee.
How is tap water converted into pure water?
Making water pure is very easy, thanks to our Di Resin filters. Tap water is passed through a filter vessel (which looks rather like a large fire extinguisher) packed with high capacity, mixed bed ion exchange resin, which produces virtually 100% pure water immediately and without any water loss or wastage. The cost of this process in most hard water areas is around 0.01p per litre of water and a full day's window cleaning with one waterfed pole consumes on average 400 litres. Pure water is produced at the same rate as the flow in your hosepipe, so there is minimal down time when filling containers or water tanks.
purefast Di Resin filters are extremely simple to use and work perfectly well in all but freezing weather conditions and they can be connected between a tap and a waterfed pole, without any additional equipment. The
purefast Di-25 and Di-9 systems use this simple technology. For more control over water flow and when working away from a tap the
purefast battery powered systems are ideal.
What is resin?
Di resin looks similar to brown sugar and consists of small beads of a polystyrene polymer, which originates from petrochemicals. When water is passed through the resin filter, the resin beads attract impurities, stripping water of minerals and carbon dioxide. Pure water is very slightly acidic and therefore mildly aggressive, ideal for cleaning glass and will remove stubborn dirt and algae. Most windows can be cleaned without the need of detergents. Pure water also breaks down surface tension on glass and this is why glass stays cleaner for longer after washing.

Keep it simple is the purefast design brief, just plug in the hoses and you are ready to start cleaning.
Easy to use
As much as glass becomes soiled, window frames retain dirt and previously used detergents. On a first clean with a pure water system these impurities have to be released by brushing and then rinsing away. Once the frames have dried a second and sometimes a third pass over the glass produces crystal clear windows. From then on, the next time the windows are cleaned, sparkling glass is achieved in just a few brush strokes. Practice and experience improves your pole technique and the cleaning task gets easier, quicker and requires less effort.
