blocks and hotels. A number of our professional

We are members of the Hire Association Europe and we
thoroughly run test every machine and carry out a PAT test (Portable Appliance
Test, which identifies any electrical issues such as a broken earth wire or poor
insulation resistance) every time a machine comes back off hire. We also
fit an inline RCD (safety trip switch) on all of our 230v hire machines, and all
of these are tested on an RCD test rig after every hire.

brush makes light work of cleaning even the dirtiest carpets and is particularly good at

Carpet Cleaning Chemical for use with above machines
Using the right carpet cleaning chemical is just as important
as using the right machine. We recommend the following carpet cleaning chemicals
to go with our hire machines:
Craftex carpet cleaning fluid 1 litre. Professional
quality, pleasant lemon perfume, economical and very effective. Does not leave a
residue, so carpets stay cleaner for longer, 2 litres usually required for a
three bedroom house. Use in the machines solution tank.
For tea, coffee and most common spills, mishaps and spots we
recommend Craftex Microsplit. We have hundreds of very satisfied customers
who use this excellent product with or without a machine. Microsplit is a
revolutionary product that separates soiling from carpet and upholstery without
the use of harsh chemicals. Enzyme-free, no detergents, colourless,
odourless, no optical brighteners, solvent-free and safe to use on wool.
Microsplit is supplied in 500 ml trigger spray ready for use or in a 5 litre
container in concentrate form and can be diluted 1:3 with water for strong spot
removal or 1:15 when used as pre-spray.
Pet stains can be easily dealt with by using either Craftex
Pet Stain Remover, Urine Spotter, Bio-Enzyme or of course Microsplit.

Orbital Carpet Cleaner for home or professional use
A quick and very easy carpet
cleaning system, ideal for cleaning low profile carpet and carpet tiles.
Vacuum the carpet first, ideally with an upright vacuum cleaner (for best
results), spray the carpet with Microsplit and also spray a 17" carpet pad (12
supplied with the machine) and simply "buff" the carpet. Normally only one
pass is required to achieve excellent results. An easy way to clean most
carpets (including wool), and usually requiring only an hour drying
time. The machine looks similar to a 17" rotary floor polisher,
however due to its orbital motion it is very easy to use and does not require
any special training or technique. Dirt and
virtually all spots are drawn into the pad on contact, usually

Dry Extraction Carpet Cleaners - easy to use and no wet
carpets!
HOST

This
system is by far the easiest to use and good for any carpet, especially high
quality wool carpets and Persian rugs. No water is required... simply vacuum, sprinkle HOST
sponges carpet cleaning product over carpet and
power brush the HOST sponges through the pile using
the Host domestic carpet cleaner.
Leave to dry, approx. 30 minutes,
and simply vacuum up the (now dirty) HOST sponges. HOST
is not new, over 40 years of development has been invested in the HOST system and as a
result, HOST works extremely well on virtually any carpet or rug.
The
HOST domestic carpet cleaner power brush is easy to use and very effective

Our most requested professional hire machine: the new -
THERMADRY Carpet Cleaner - unbelievable results with minimal effort and a
chemical cost of just 0.07p per square metre
Thermadry
is the latest carpet cleaning technology from Craftex. A quick and easy
way to clean most carpets (including wool), and usually requiring only an hour drying
time. The machine looks similar to a 17" rotary floor polisher and is fitted
with an integral heater. To clean a carpet with Thermadry, simply vacuum the
carpet first, preferably with an upright vacuum cleaner, and then pre-spray the carpet with a neutral cleaning solution called
Microsplit. Select a 17" Thermadry carpet cleaning pad and spray the
pad with Catalyst, ready for use. Attach the pad to the base of the Thermadry machine and start buffing as if you
are cleaning a hard floor. The integral heater raises the
temperature of the pad to approximately 80 degrees Centigrade. Dirt and
virtually any stains and spots are drawn into the pad on contact, usually
one pass is sufficient to thoroughly clean even the dirtiest carpet. Carpets are

Stair Cleaner
Clean stairs the easy way - use your vacuum first, then
spray the stairs with our Microsplit carpet cleaner
chemical. The stair cleaner uses an 8" carpet cleaning pad to 'buff' the
treads in one or two passes. It is very quick and easy, just let the stair
carpet dry and it's ready for use. Supplied with 3 x 8" pads, which should be washed in a washing machine
(no need to use washing powder) prior to returning to our shop. Prior to hiring, check
whether your choice of carpet cleaning machine above includes a stair tool
already, you may not need to hire this tool separately. It is especially
