Here is an overview of both wet and dry carpet cleaning systems that we have available for hire.  We can offer you informed advice on the best system and machines to suit your particular application.  The machines shown below are capable of cleaning domestic houses through to entire office blocks.  A number of our customers clean in excess of 1 million square feet of carpet annually using the Host dry extraction system.

Wet - spray extraction carpet cleaner

Wet- professional spray extraction carpet cleaner with integral power brush

A very powerful machine used by professional carpet cleaners on large areas of commercial carpet.  Injects cleaning solution at high pressure and uses a powered brush to agitate and lift the carpet pile.  This machine is one of the few "walk-behind" carpet cleaners that cleans both forwards and backwards.  Long corridors and even small rooms can be quickly and easily cleaned and an optional floor wand can be used in awkward areas and on stairs.  Large fluid capacity. Wet- professional spray extraction carpet cleaner with two triple stage vacuum motors

A very powerful machine used by professional carpet cleaners.  Injects cleaning solution at high pressure through a triple jet carpet wand to provide deep cleaning. The powerful twin vacuum motors allow the use of long extension hoses for difficult to reach areas and stairs. Dry Extraction Carpet Cleaners - easy to use and no wet carpets!

                         
HOST dry extraction domestic carpet cleaner power brush This system is by far the easiest to use and good for any carpet especially high quality wool carpets and Persian rugs.  No water is required... simply vacuum, sprinkle HOST sponges carpet cleaning product over carpet and power brush the HOST sponges through the pile using the Host domestic carpet cleaner.  Leave to dry, approx. 30 minutes, and simply vacuum up the (now dirty) HOST sponges.  HOST is not new, over 40 years of development has been invested in the HOST system and as a result, HOST works extremely well on virtually any carpet or rug.

The HOST domestic carpet cleaner power brush is easy to use and very effective on both domestic and commercial carpets, especially those with high wool content.  The HOST system, in our experience, is capable of removing most spots and stains without "wick-back" which often occurs with wet systems.  Absolutely no risk of shrinking the carpet.  Speciality carpets such as Seagrass can also be cleaned (with care) using HOST.  HOST sponges available sale or return.  Handle can be removed to facilitate stair cleaning and transportation.

HOST Freestyle professional carpet cleaner

This machine is the ultimate in fast carpet cleaning with its integral high power vacuum.  It is capable of cleaning up to 100 square metres of carpet per hour.  The Freestyle vacuums, power brushes and pile lifts in one pass.  It also knocks down for use on stairs and for easy transport.  It has the most effective and powerful vacuum system out of all the carpet cleaners we have tried.  It is quite possible to see an immediate effect, even on carpet tiles, just by simply vacuuming!   Professional Cleaners use the HOST® Dry Extraction Carpet Cleaning System in houses as well as in major facilities. HOST is a superior way to deep clean carpets wall-to-wall, remove difficult spots and spills and clean those heavily soiled problem areas caused by high traffic. NEW!   Dry - THERMADRY Carpet Cleaners  

Thermadry is the latest carpet cleaning technology from Craftex.  A quick and easy way to clean most carpets (including wool), and usually requiring only an hour's drying time.  The machine looks similar to a 17" rotary floor polisher and is fitted with an integral heater.  To clean a carpet with Thermadry, simply vacuum the carpet first, preferably with an upright vacuum cleaner and then prespray the carpet with a neutral cleaning solution called Catalyst.  Select a dense 17" lambswool pad and spray the pad, ready for use.  Attach the pad to the base of the Thermadry machine and start buffing as if you are cleaning a hard floor.  The integral heater raises the temperature of the pad to approximately 80 degrees Centigrade.  Dirt and virtually any stains and spots are drawn into the pad on contact, usually one pass is sufficient to thoroughly clean even the dirtiest carpet.  Carpets are left looking and smelling great.  One pad will clean up to 30 square metres and can then be washed in a standard washing machine (no extra chemical required).  We supply sufficient pads to work all day.  It is possible to clean up to 500 square metres of carpet in 8 hours.  Catalyst Thermadry carpet cleaning solution available on sale or return.  Thermadry machine hire rates including mop bucket, 12 pads and prespray pump:

Stair Cleaner

Clean stairs the easy way - use your vacuum first, then spray the stairs with our Microsplit carpet cleaner chemical.  The stair cleaner uses an 8" carpet cleaning pad to 'buff' the treads in one or two passes.  It is very quick and easy, just let the stair carpet dry and it's ready for use.  Supplied with 3 x 8" pads, which should be washed in a washing machine (without chemical) prior to returning to our shop.  Prior to hiring, check whether your choice of carpet cleaning machine above includes a stair tool already, you may not need to hire this tool separately.  It is especially useful for commercial carpets, in conjunction with the Host Freestyle and Thermadry machines.
