purefast  125 litre high capacity trolley

Pictured right is the largest trolley system from our purefast pure water window cleaning trolley system range - ideal for on-site window and cladding cleaning around schools, colleges, shopping centres, business parks etc.  The purpose-built, 125 litre low profile water tank is mounted on a two wheel trolley with large blow up tyres and fitted with our flowbox system, a robust plastic box housing a 12 volt 100psi water pump, digital waterflow controller and a heavy duty deep cycle battery.  Setting up is very easy, connect the 50 metre hose reel (supplied) to a tap and a trolley mounted Di resin filter.  Connect a hose from the resin filter to the trolley and fill the water tank.  The trolley is fitted with a hose reel containing 25 metres of 8mm lightweight hose which is then connected to a waterfed pole via a tap mounted on your belt, which you can use to shut off water flow when moving between windows, saving water. You are now ready to work from ground floor up to 18 metres high, depending on your choice of pole. A water quality meter is fitted to monitor the condition of the water.  Typically two waterfed poles are supplied, a 7.2 metre (23') pole is suitable for ground floor and first floor windows and a 9.4 metre (30') pole for second and third floor windows. We also supply an excellent range of brushes.

purefast  25 litre heavy duty trolley

A versatile trolley with interchangeable 25 litre containers and a heavy duty battery with ample reserves to operate a full 8 hour shift. Ideal for moving around a college campus with minimal weight and can be transported from site to site or from house to house, a popular choice for many window cleaners. The 25 litre water containers can be filled at home and easily transported to your customers site. Our purefast design allows the pump and battery box (our flowbox) to be removed from the trolley in just a few seconds, reducing the trolley weight when being transported and enabling the battery to be charged away from the trolley and stored indoors and protected from frost.  We fit our flowboxes with digital water flow controllers, simply dial up the flow and pressure to match the window or cladding height.  The controller also displays the level of charge in the battery.  For professional window cleaners who would like to move to a van mounted system when their business expands, our flowbox can be integrated into the van, saving money on the upgrade and can still be used with the trolley when required.  The flowbox is equipped with a SHURflo 100 psi pump, 85Ah deep cycle battery, digital flow controller and is constructed from reinforced plastic with a hinged lid.

purefast  Superlite 25 litre trolley

Designed to be easily lifted into a vehicle and moved from site to site, the purefast Superlite is very compact with its removeable handle bars and low profile. However don't be fooled by its size, fitted with the same 100 psi SHURflo pump as the above trolleys, the purefast Superlite can be attached to the highest poles.  A second battery is supplied and can be plugged in with a quick connect lead to provide enough power for a full day's work. The steel frame cleverly helps to protect the battery box from knocks.  Large air-filled tyres make easy work over gravel drives and paths.  To keep it simple, we fit the Superlite trolley with a quick adjust manual flow and pressure control valve - no electronics involved!

purefast Di twin resin filter trolley

This 12 volt battery powered trolley has been especially designed for use around hotels, retirement homes, schools and buildings which are equipped with an external mains water tap and where long trailing hoses are not a problem or a trip hazzard,  so there is no need for a water container.  Instead we have fitted two easy change screw on resin filters and again utilised our flowbox with 85Ah battery,  100 psi SHURflo pump and digital waterflow controller. To increase the operating range a 100 metre hose reel is supplied with this trolley and the hose has an 8 mm bore therefore very light to handle. We do like the easy-change Di resin filters, they may not hold as much resin as a standard pressure vessel, but they are much easier to work with. When the resin has served its useful life, simply unscrew the cannisters, slide out the internal tube and unscew the end cap, pour out the resin beads and refill with fresh resin and screw the cannisters back on. Job done. We can supply any of our systems with quick-change canisters if preferred.

No battery power required.  Using the mains water supply only,  the twin resin filters produce instant pure water and providing there is sufficient water pressure, just about any length waterfed pole can be used. A great start up system and ideal for smaller properties.

Why use pure water?

How is tap water converted into pure water?

Making water pure is very easy, thanks to our Di Resin filters. Tap water is passed through a filter vessel (which looks rather like a large fire extinguisher) packed with high capacity, mixed bed ion exchange resin, which produces virtually 100% pure water immediately and without any water loss or wastage.  The cost of this process in most hard water areas is around 0.01p per litre of water and a full day's window cleaning with one waterfed pole consumes on average 400 litres.  Pure water is produced at the same rate as the flow in your hosepipe, so there is minimal down time when filling containers or water tanks. purefast Di Resin filters are extremely simple to use and work perfectly well in all but freezing weather conditions and they can be connected between a tap and a waterfed pole, without any additional equipment.  The purefast Di-25 and Di-9 systems use this simple technology. For more control over water flow and when working away from a tap the purefast battery powered systems are ideal.

What is resin?

Di resin looks similar to brown sugar and consists of small beads of a polystyrene polymer, which originates from petrochemicals.  When water is passed through the resin filter, the resin beads attract impurities, stripping water of minerals and carbon dioxide.  Pure water is very slightly acidic and therefore mildly aggressive, ideal for cleaning glass and will remove stubborn dirt and algae.  Most windows can be cleaned without the need of detergents.  Pure water also breaks down surface tension on glass and this is why glass stays cleaner for longer after washing.

Keep it simple is the purefast design brief, just plug in the hoses and you are ready to start cleaning.

Easy to use

As much as glass becomes soiled, window frames retain dirt and previously used detergents. On a first clean with a pure water system these impurities have to be released by brushing and then rinsing away.  Once the frames have dried a second and sometimes a third pass over the glass produces crystal clear windows.  From then on, the next time the windows are cleaned, sparkling glass is achieved in just a few brush strokes.  Practice and experience improves your pole technique and the cleaning task gets easier, quicker and requires less effort.  Watch this short video below (also available to watch on our YouTube TV channel ):

Easy to extend with quick release clamps and telescopic sections, which can be locked at any point along their length to achieve the desired height.  There are three types of telescopic pole: glass fibre, very cost effective, in a range of lengths ideal for lower windows, from 1.3 metres – 11.7 metres; glass fibre and carbon fibre combination, harder wearing for every day use from 5.2 metres – 14 metres, and carbon fibre, ultra light and very tough for reaching very high windows from 14 metres – 24 metres.

Waterfed brushes

We stock window cleaning brushes for low level cleaning, high level cleaning and multi-purpose use.  Also we supply brushes for cleaning soffits, boarding, signs, cladding and special brushes for solar panels.  Quality and design are the key words. All brush blocks are made of polypropylene and the PBT filaments are fixed with stainless steel staples. The diameter of the holes in the brush blocks are accurately reduced to the filament bundle size. All brush sockets are integral and have a machined thread to secure the brush to the angle adaptor. Internal window cleaning    

Clean the inside of your windows with our new low moisture telescopic pole system.  All the windows that previously needed a ladder or frame to reach, can now be cleaned from the safety of the ground using pure water and high tech microfibre pads. Pure water is misted over the glass via a small battery-powered pump, attached to the operator's belt.  A lightweight mop frame attached to the top of the pole holds a microfibre pad, which cuts through the build-up of grease and grime to leave sparkling glass.
